HSD AeroCore EPO

HSD Jets

HSD AeroCore EPO™ Construction

Premium application-specific foam engineering for high-performance EDF and turbine-capable RC jets.

Closed-cell EPO structure
Purpose-built density
Premium HSD airframe feel
AeroCore EPO™

The foam is not just what the jet is made from. It helps define how the jet feels and performs.

HSD jets are known for their solid feel, refined finish, and premium flight performance. A major part of that comes from HSD AeroCore EPO™ — a molded foam construction system selected around each aircraft’s size, power system, speed, and flight loads.

What Makes AeroCore EPO™ Different?

AeroCore is not a one-size-fits-all foam formula. HSD uses application-specific EPO construction so each aircraft gets the structure that best matches the way it flies.

Closed-Cell Structure

Lightweight, resilient, and repairable — ideal for detailed molded RC jet airframes.

Molded for Precision

Supports clean surface detail, panel lines, and the refined finish HSD jets are known for.

Tuned to the Aircraft

Different AeroCore densities are used for EDF and turbine-capable models.

Two Grades. One Premium Standard.

AeroCore EPO™ is used in two application-specific grades, each matched to the demands of the aircraft.

AeroCore 20 Pro™ — Turbine-Capable Jets

EDF Jets

AeroCore 35 Sport™

Premium lightweight EDF foam.

AeroCore 35 Sport™ is used in HSD EDF jets where lightweight performance, efficiency, and crisp handling matter most. This premium EPO structure helps keep the airframe responsive and efficient while maintaining the solid, refined feel HSD pilots expect.

  • Lightweight structure optimized for EDF performance
  • Helps reduce wing loading for better handling
  • Supports acceleration, climb, and flight efficiency
  • Clean molded detail and premium surface finish

Turbine-Capable Jets

AeroCore 20 Pro™

High-density turbine-grade foam.

AeroCore 20 Pro™ is used in HSD turbine-capable models where higher speed, vibration, equipment weight, landing loads, and structural stress demand a denser, more rigid foam structure.

  • Denser EPO structure for higher-load flying
  • Added rigidity in demanding flight conditions
  • Improved durability around high-stress areas
  • Confidence-inspiring solid feel for turbine applications

Why Two AeroCore Grades?

EDF jets and turbine-capable jets do not carry the same loads or fly under the same demands. HSD matches the foam density to the aircraft’s mission instead of forcing every model into one construction formula.

The AeroCore Standard

Every HSD jet is built with the AeroCore grade best suited to its design, power system, and performance demands. From lightweight EDF efficiency to high-density turbine durability, AeroCore EPO™ helps deliver the solid feel, refined finish, and premium flying experience HSD jets are known for.
