The FrSky TW R6 brings FrSky’s advanced TWIN protocol into an extremely compact and lightweight 6-channel receiver designed for pilots who want reliable control, clean wiring, and minimal weight. Its small size and 5g weight make it a great choice for ultralight aircraft, micro-size aircraft, park flyers, racers, and compact fixed-wing builds where space and weight matter.

Unlike traditional single-band 2.4GHz receivers, the TW R6 uses FrSky’s dual active 2.4GHz system, allowing both 2.4GHz frequency bands to operate at the same time for improved signal stability and resilience. This active-active design is different from basic backup receiver systems, where one signal path only takes over after the other has failed. With the TW R6, both 2.4GHz links are working simultaneously for a more stable and dependable connection throughout the flight.

The TW R6 includes 6 PWM output channels, SBUS Out, FBUS/S.Port telemetry support, and inverted S.Port for easy flight controller integration. When configured for FBUS in ETHOS, signal control and telemetry can be handled through a single wire with compatible FBUS devices, helping simplify wiring and create a cleaner aircraft setup. The TW R6 also supports 4ms Race Mode with telemetry, giving pilots ultra-low latency control for racing and high-performance flying.

Compatibility Note

The TW R6 is compatible with FrSky TWIN Series radios and RF modules operating in TW mode. This includes the FrSky TWIN X14, TWIN X14S, and other TWIN Series transmitters that support TW protocol. It is not a Tandem TD receiver and should be used with TWIN/TW-compatible systems.
