Unlike traditional standby redundancy systems, the FrSky TWIN protocol uses two active 2.4GHz links at the same time. Compatibility Note

This combo is built around FrSky TWIN Series receivers using TW protocol. These receivers are compatible with FrSky TWIN Series radios and TW-mode RF modules, including the TWIN X14 and TWIN X14S lineup.

TWIN / TW receivers are different from Tandem / TD receivers. If you are using a FrSky Tandem radio or TD-mode system, make sure you choose a Tandem TD receiver instead.
