FP Sync FrSky TWIN X14 Custom Preloaded Package

The FP Sync TWIN X14 Package gives you a professionally programmed FrSky radio system built around the aircraft you actually fly. Choose your transmitter color, select between 1 and 10 TW GR8 receivers, and choose one custom aircraft profile for each receiver.

Every selected model profile is loaded onto the radio, each receiver is bound to the transmitter, and the applicable controls, telemetry, voice alerts, rates, flight modes, flaps, retracts, reverse thrust, and stabilizer functions are configured before shipment.

Build Your FP Sync Package

  1. Choose a Black or White TWIN X14 transmitter.
  2. Select between 1 and 10 FrSky TW GR8 receivers.
  3. Choose one aircraft profile for each receiver.
  4. Tell us whether a non-factory-equipped aircraft uses no stabilizer or an add-on FMS Reflex V3.
  5. Add any special installation or programming information in the notes field.

Each receiver is matched with its corresponding aircraft profile. For example, a two-receiver package can be configured for an FMS 1300mm PA-18 and an Arrows 1300mm Bigfoot, giving you two bound receivers and two ready-to-use model profiles on the same transmitter.

Aircraft, flight batteries, servos, ESCs, and stabilizer hardware are not included.

Important Reflex V3 Information

Selecting “Add-on FMS Reflex V3” does not include a Reflex V3 stabilizer.

This selection is only for customers who have already purchased an FMS Reflex V3 separately and intend to install it in an aircraft that did not originally include one.

Flight Pro will prepare the radio profile for use with that customer-supplied Reflex V3, but the Reflex hardware must be purchased separately.

Aircraft identified in the profile selector as Factory Reflex or Factory Vector will automatically receive the appropriate programming for the stabilizer system originally supplied with that aircraft.

Professional Aircraft-Specific Programming

This is more than a transmitter and receiver bundle. Each profile is built around the functions and equipment commonly found in the selected aircraft.

Depending on the aircraft and its installed equipment, programming may include:

  • Aileron, elevator, rudder, and throttle channel assignments
  • Throttle-cut safety control
  • Dual rates and aircraft-appropriate control settings
  • Flap control and flap-position voice callouts
  • Independent elevator trim for configured flap flight modes
  • Retract and landing-gear control
  • Reverse-thrust control where supported
  • FMS Reflex or Arrows Vector mode control where applicable
  • Panic or auto-level recovery control where supported
  • Receiver voltage and RF-link telemetry
  • Altitude and vertical-speed telemetry from the TW GR8 variometer
  • Flight-battery voltage monitoring when the required telemetry connection is installed
  • Low-voltage and critical-voltage voice alerts
  • Flight timer and motor timer configuration
  • Aircraft-specific switch assignments and voice feedback
  • Flight Pro ETHOS display and model organization

Available features vary by aircraft, installed electronics, and telemetry connections. Functions that are not supported by the selected aircraft will not be added simply to fill switches.

Factory Reflex and Vector Integration

Aircraft marked as Factory Reflex or Factory Vector are configured around the stabilizer system originally supplied with that model.

Where supported, the receiver can connect to the aircraft’s stabilizer through SBUS. This helps preserve the factory gyro functions while allowing the TWIN X14 to provide improved switch control, telemetry, voice alerts, timers, and aircraft-specific programming.

If your aircraft’s electronics have been changed from the stock configuration, describe those changes in the programming notes so the setup can be reviewed before shipment.

Aircraft Without a Factory Stabilizer

For aircraft that did not originally include a stabilizer, choose one of the following:

  • No Stabilizer: The profile will be configured for a conventional receiver and servo installation.
  • Add-on FMS Reflex V3: The profile will be prepared for a separately purchased, customer-supplied Reflex V3.

If you are unsure which option applies, include the aircraft version and a description of the installed electronics in the programming notes.

Additional aircraft profiles may be added over time. Select Other Aircraft if your model is not listed and provide the manufacturer, model, wingspan, and installed electronics.

Flight Pro Master Model File

The transmitter also includes a Flight Pro Master Model File that can be cloned for future aircraft. This gives you a clean starting point with the primary Flight Pro controls, safety features, telemetry organization, and switch layout already established.

Before changing a Flight Pro profile: Clone the model and make changes to the cloned copy. Keep the original profile untouched so you always have a known working configuration to reference or restore.

Installation and Required Preflight Checks

The transmitter programming and receiver binding are completed before shipment, but every aircraft installation is different. Final setup and safety verification remain the pilot’s responsibility.

Before flight, you must:

  • Install the receiver and any customer-supplied stabilizer correctly
  • Connect each servo, ESC, telemetry lead, and accessory to the correct port
  • Verify aileron, elevator, rudder, throttle, flap, retract, and reverse-thrust directions
  • Verify stabilizer correction direction on every axis
  • Confirm control-surface neutral positions and mechanical linkage setup
  • Confirm travel, rates, endpoints, and flap positions
  • Verify throttle cut and failsafe operation
  • Verify telemetry values and voltage-alert settings
  • Complete a receiver range test
  • Confirm the aircraft’s center of gravity
  • Perform a complete preflight inspection before every flight

Profiles are developed around the normal stock configuration of the selected aircraft. Different servos, ESCs, control boards, wiring arrangements, firmware versions, or other modifications can require additional adjustments.
