HSDJETS 2000mm HSDJETS-182 RTF Package – Blue

The HSDJETS 2000mm HSDJETS-182 combines the stable handling of a large high-wing aircraft with a powerful 6S brushless power system, functional flaps, integrated LED lighting, and rugged all-metal fixed landing gear. With its 2000mm wingspan and highly visible blue-and-white finish, the HSDJETS-182 is designed for relaxed scale flying, smooth takeoffs, predictable approaches, and confident everyday sport flying.

The airframe is constructed from HSD’s lightweight AeroCore 35 Sport EPO, providing a practical balance of low weight, structural durability, and crisp flight performance. The large wing area and high-wing configuration help provide stable, predictable handling, while the functional flaps allow the aircraft to slow down for controlled approaches and shorter landings.

Power is provided by a factory-installed 5055-500KV brushless motor, Hobbywing 80A ESC, and 14.5 × 7 three-blade propeller. The recommended 6S 5000–6000mAh LiPo power system provides strong takeoff performance and approximately 8–10 minutes of flight time depending on battery selection, throttle use, weather conditions, and flying style.

The HSD MFC-2065 multifunction control system organizes the aircraft’s installed electronics and simplifies receiver integration. Six high-voltage metal-gear servos operate the ailerons, flaps, elevator, and rudder, while a separate 2S receiver battery powers the aircraft’s control system independently from the main flight battery.

Choose Your RTF Package

Select the Ready-To-Fly package that best matches your preferred radio system and equipment needs. Available packages may include different Flight Pro radio and receiver combinations, battery options, chargers, or additional accessories. The exact contents of each package are shown in the product-option selector.

Each Flight Pro RTF package includes a compatible transmitter and receiver system professionally configured for the HSDJETS-182. The receiver is installed and connected to the aircraft, and the transmitter is programmed with the required primary controls and aircraft functions included with the selected package.

Flight Pro programming removes much of the uncertainty normally associated with setting up a large PNP aircraft. The aircraft and radio system still require final assembly, inspection, battery installation, center-of-gravity verification, control-direction checks, range testing, and other preflight procedures before operation.

Flight Pro Pre-Configured Radio System

The selected Flight Pro radio package is prepared specifically for the HSDJETS-182 and may include programmed control assignments, flap operation, throttle safety, rates, expo, timers, voice alerts, telemetry, and other functions supported by the selected transmitter, receiver, and installed equipment.

Programming features vary between RTF package options. Review the contents and feature list of the selected package before ordering. Batteries, chargers, telemetry sensors, stabilization systems, and optional aircraft accessories are included only when specifically listed with the selected option.

AeroCore 35 Sport EPO

The HSDJETS-182 uses HSD’s lightweight AeroCore 35 Sport EPO construction. This material is designed for electric sport aircraft where manageable weight, efficient performance, and predictable handling are important. The lightweight airframe helps the HSDJETS-182 maintain its large presence without unnecessarily increasing wing loading.

Setup Notes

Choose the Correct RTF Package

Select the package that includes the transmitter, receiver, battery equipment, telemetry features, and accessories you need. Package contents vary, so review the selected option before ordering.

Pre-Configured Radio System

The included transmitter and receiver are prepared specifically for the HSDJETS-182. Do not copy the model profile to another aircraft or change channel assignments without documenting the original setup.

Final Assembly Is Required

The aircraft still requires final assembly before flight. Install the wings, wing braces, tail components, landing gear, propeller, and related hardware according to the aircraft manual.

Read the Instructions

Review the HSDJETS-182 manual and any Flight Pro radio instructions included with the selected package before connecting batteries or operating the aircraft.

Receiver Battery

The MFC-2065 and installed servos use a separate 2S receiver battery. Use a fully charged 7.4V 2000–3000mAh LiPo battery with the correct XT60 connector unless one is included with the selected package.

Flight Battery

Use a properly rated 6S 5000–6000mAh LiPo battery with the correct connector. Secure the battery firmly and position it as needed to achieve the specified center of gravity.

Center of Gravity

Balance the fully assembled aircraft at 96mm behind the leading edge of the main wing. Check the balance with both batteries installed in their intended flying positions.

Propeller Safety

Treat the propeller as live whenever the flight battery is connected. Keep people, tools, clothing, and loose objects clear of the propeller arc. Use the programmed throttle-safety function whenever the aircraft is powered.

Control-Direction Check

Before every flight, confirm that the ailerons, elevator, rudder, and flaps move in the correct direction. Verify that both flaps deploy evenly and that no servo or control surface binds.

Pre-Configured Does Not Mean Preflight-Free

The radio system is programmed in advance, but the pilot is still responsible for verifying control directions, servo operation, center of gravity, battery condition, hardware, wing braces, failsafe operation, and overall airworthiness.

Range Test

Complete a radio range test before the first flight and after any receiver, antenna, wiring, or radio-system change. Do not fly if the controls hesitate, twitch, lose connection, or behave unexpectedly.

Failsafe

Verify that the motor returns to a safe off condition if the transmitter signal is interrupted. Test failsafe with the propeller removed whenever practical.

Flap Operation

Test flap deployment while the aircraft is secured. Confirm that both flaps move evenly, return fully, and do not cause the servos to buzz or bind.

First Flight

Use a large flying area with a smooth runway and light wind. Use gradual control inputs and remain at a safe altitude while confirming trim, flap behavior, and overall handling.

Flight Timer

Set the first flight timer conservatively. Land early and measure the remaining battery capacity before increasing the timer on later flights.

Optional Equipment

Floats, electromagnetic brakes, stabilization equipment, telemetry sensors, and other accessories may require separate installation and changes to the programmed radio profile.
